Concrete actions
Our concrete actions on the ground: Sustainable tourism in practice
A vision only truly comes to life when translated into action. In this “Tangible Actions” section, we share the real, measurable impact Phima Voyages has in Peru.
Every trip we design supports rigorous environmental, ethical, and social initiatives, driven in close partnership with our local network. Here is an overview of the tangible projects that drive us every day.
Total transparency: Our annual responsibility reports
Because sustainability demands accountability, we have published a comprehensive review of our activities every year since 2018. These responsibility reports track the evolution of our key indicators. They showcase our successes on the ground, as well as the areas identified for improvement to ensure our tourism ecosystem continues to progress year after year.
Climate: Measuring and managing our carbon footprint
We do more than just talk about climate change; we measure our impact. Through rigorous monitoring of our CO2 emissions, we gain clear insights that allow us to define concrete action plans to reduce the footprint of our trips and guide our travelers toward more responsible offsetting and reduction practices.
Environment: Reforestation and biodiversity preservation
In the face of the climate emergency and the loss of natural habitats, we tackle the root of the problem. Through targeted reforestation campaigns and our long-standing commitment to adopting and planting native trees, we actively contribute to restoring fragile ecosystems and protecting water resources in Northern Peru.
Ethics and Social Impact: A committed and protective network
Responsible tourism is inseparable from social justice and respect for human rights. This commitment takes two powerful forms:
Our responsible hotel partners: We collaborate exclusively with establishments that share our sustainability standards, ensuring sound resource management and the empowerment of local teams.
Protecting people: We implement and promote a strict code of conduct—particularly regarding the fight against sexual exploitation in tourism—to ensure travel is a safe and respectful experience for everyone.
