Another important person for your clients service : your driver ! Actually it is not only the driver, but also the car that is used for the clients program. Probably you already have a network of different drivers according to the region and program. How did you choose your partners ?
Qualities of a good driver
- Careful driving
- On time (even in advance) – always
- Constantly keeping the car clean during the day and super neat for the next day
- Knowledgeable about the regions he is driving in
- Well informed about problems that could arise on the road (landslides)
- A little English (to say “Hello” and “Good bye” or even more)
- Polite and helpful towards the clients
- Always impeccably dressed
- Has an official and valid driving license 🙂
Qualities of the car !
- Clean car without any bumps or scratches
- Insurance for the car
- Regular maintenance check-ups for the car (real ones, not just a signed paper 🙂 )
- Tires in good condition (groove depth not less than 2 mm)
- Spare tire in the car (and in good condition)
- All necessary equipment to change a tire in the car, as well as safety equipment (triangle, jack etc.)
- Fire extinguisher in the car
- First aid kit in the car
- Car not older than 3 – 5 years (maximum)
- Air-conditioning in the car
- Good suspensions for the best comfort of the clients
- All seats are equipped with seat belts
- If the car is high, think of a footboard for the comfort of the clients
- Curtains that shut off the sun
- Trunc clean and free of any luggage or other stuff
